Make AWS startup credits last longer.

Cloud benefits feel large until databases, logs, development environments, and inference share the same bill. Map the credits to your actual infrastructure before treating them as extra runway.

01

Check the program you're applying to

Use the official AWS startup portal to review current eligibility and application routes. Gather company and account details, plus any eligible partner information. The benefit you receive depends on the program's decision and terms.

02

Build a service-level forecast

Separate production from staging and experiments. Identify which services are covered by your award, and watch charges outside that scope. Set cost alerts early, when changing architecture is still inexpensive.

03

Plan for the end date

Forecast the first month without promotional credits. Right-size idle services and stop unused resources. If you have excess balance, review the award's restrictions before considering any transfer arrangement; a large unused number is not proof that it can be resold.
